The Royal New Zealand College of General PractitionersThe Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners is a medical college that is the post-graduate training organisation for doctors wanting to specialise in general practice and rural hospital medicine and a membership organisation. Our 75+ operational staff support our College members with an aim to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequities.The roleReporting to the Manager Communications and Events, the Visual Communications Designer works closely with the Communications and Events team to support the services we provide to members and colleagues. You'll do this by:Co-ordinating, editing and designing our monthly member magazineProducing multi-media brand and communication assets, including photography, videography, newsletters, design and social media tilesResponsibility for photography and videography of College events and staff for use in College communications channelsSupporting events as required, including promotional work, producing display material, engaging with members and creating written and visual contentSupporting the brand design work across all channels including websites, newsletters and social media.Skills & ExperienceTertiary qualification in communication, journalism, design or a related disciplineDemonstrable experience with graphic design, videography and photography software.
