Village Assistant

We are looking for an exceptional Village Assistant to join our team at our Summerset on the Landing, Kenepuru Village. This is a fixed-term position for 12 months to assist in providing village cover, reporting directly to the Village Manager.
Our Village Assistant is in many ways the face of our business and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people, especially the elderly and their families. The Village Assistant role provides great diversity, therefore you would provide a degree of both operational and administrative cover for the Village Manager two days per week primarily being during the week and you will be expected to work during the weekends . This role is responsible for being the first point of contact for all Village related matters whilst on duty.
You will be sole-charge whilst on duty and be required to respond to any emergency situations which may arise. You will also carry out a range of tasks such as cleaning/ housekeeping tasks as required.

Please note that although we welcome applications from overseas candidates that do not have the right to work in New Zealand, due to NZ Immigration requirements it is unlikely that we will be able to support a visa application for this role. You will be required to have a current First Aid certificate for this role.
