The Challenge
A close friend has cancer. One of the things I love about her is her views and opinions on all sorts of topics. We would like to have a video of our conversations covering topics such as favourite music, significant events or times in life that have challenged or changed my friend, thoughts/wisdom/musings on a random bunch of things. The Audience
My friend, her 2 children (for now and later in life) and other family and friends. The Process Videographer meets us to discuss the project by phone/video call. We think that we can act as the interviewer and subject person but if it works better, we’ll get the videographer to act as the interviewer. We will have a pre-agreed list of topics and questions to discuss –1 hour We meet with the videographer to film the subject talking about aspects of their life and opinions in my friend’s home in Brooklyn – 2 hours The videographer then edits the digital footage and adds photos and music and relevant chapter titles – up to 5 hours. Would be great to get this completed before Christmas Equipment
You will need to supply the camera and microphone, editing/publishing software and any other relevant equipment (eg lighting if needed).
