Thank you for your interest in this position.We have received your application from Indeed, so the first step of your application is complete.To finish your application we will email you further details.Vessel Planner Employing over 1300 staff in 13 locations across NZ, C3 Limited is a market leader in New Zealand's port related product and cargo handling, adding value to our client's businesses by providing solutions to their transport and logistics needs.Based at our Mount Maunganui branch we are seeking a permanent, full time vessel planner to interpret our client's requirements by receiving and processing supplier vessel allocation for log vessels calling at C3 ports.As part of this role, you will prepare vessel load lists for our drivers and yardmen. You will allocate log volume via C3's inventory management system, liaise with Stevedores during the vessel loading process as well as co-ordinate with external companies regarding phytosanitary and fumigation requirements.Essential requirements for the position are:Strong team work skillsFlexibility with working hours as this is a 24/7 environmentStrong numeracy abilitiesAccuracy and excellent attention to detailProficient computer skills in Microsoft Word & ExcelExcellent customer service skills and telephone mannerGood time management and adaptabilityAbility to work to strict deadlinesIf you are highly organized, methodical, have an eye for detail and enjoy responsibility in a fast-paced work environment, then we would like to hear from you.
