Te Turanga | About the role As the Venue & Events Communications Officer you'll be inspiring and informing our community about the diverse range of events in our city and building awareness of the kaupapa of The Historic Village.
Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you'll craft strategic communication plans and compelling content to engage community and media around city events and The Historic Village.
We're a passionate and fun Venue & Events team who work hard and put the community at the heart of everything we do.
Key elements of this position will include:
Developing communication plans and implementing activity including writing and disseminating publicity and operational materials,Writing and pitching stories where you get to own and shape the narrative,Responding to enquiries from public and media,Creating written and video content for a variety of channels, including social media,Collaborating with Venues & Event team managers to produce internal communications and reporting that celebrates the work of the team.Nga Pukenga | What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
