This position offers sponsorship for the right candidate and provides a minimum pay of $29.80 per hour, commensurate with experience. As a Car Painter, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer expectations. This role guarantees a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of occasional Saturday shifts. Responsibilities: 1. Vehicle Preparation: - Thoroughly prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primers as necessary. - Conduct detailed inspections to identify any imperfections or damage that may require repair before painting. - Adhere to safety protocols and ensure proper ventilation in the painting area to maintain a safe working environment. 2. Paint Mixing and Application: - Mix paint colors according to vehicle specifications and customer preferences, using precise measurements and formulas. - Apply paint coats evenly and accurately using spray guns, brushes, or other appropriate methods. - Follow established procedures for paint application, including drying times and temperature control, to achieve desired results. 3. Quality Assurance: - Perform thorough inspections of completed paint jobs to identify any defects or inconsistencies. - Make necessary touch-ups or adjustments to ensure flawless finishes and color matches. - Adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements for automotive painting. 4. Equipment Maintenance: - Maintain painting equipment in optimal condition by cleaning, calibrating, and performing regular maintenance tasks. - Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs as needed to minimize downtime. - Monitor inventory levels of paint supplies and equipment accessories, and coordinate with management for replenishment. 5.
