Vehicle Dismantler Required

We are looking for Vehicle Dismantlers for our busy automotive business in Auckland. This is a full-time permanent position and will consist of disassembling vehicle to remove all useable parts and discarding of vehicle waste.  To be considered for this position you'll have some previous experience in a similar industry or position. However, we are willing to train a suitable person for this position, even if you don't have experience. You should have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and be able to work independently to reach goals. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames.  You will be expected to perform tasks such as operating  our workshop machinery including power tools, diagnostic equipment and hand tools, disassembling motor vehicles to remove and save all useable parts and componants, sorting, labeling and storing all useable parts, disposing of vehicle waste materials, communicating with customers as required, completing paperwork as required and ensuring the highest quality of work possible. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery.  Key Attributes: •The desire to grow your knowledge and skills in the automotive industry.   •A strong focus and keen eye for detail. •The ability and willingness to adapt, be flexible and learn quickly •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills •The ability to work independently and without supervision •Ability to use a computer and basic programs like Microsoft word and excel is also beneficial.  This is a full time and permanent position offering at least 30 hours per week. We are offering a minimum payrate of $29.66 and a maximum of $35 for this position. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
