Description :What you will be doingPlay a leadership role in our valuation compliance team responsible for delivering quality assurance of valuations managed through our valuation platforms for New Zealand. Your key focus will be executing on the department and organisational strategy focussing on providing best in market and optimal processes that support the timely and effective delivery of our services to our clients, mainly New Zealand banking and finance customers.You will steer external relationships, including client and panel firms, to promote your expertise, our best in class services and improved panel performance.You will be working with a range of internal stakeholders from Operations to IT requiring outstanding communication skills and talent to effectively managing these relationships and a number of priorities at one time.­­­What is the role?Assist with the execution of valuation compliance product strategic initiatives for NZ including partnering with key internal and external stakeholders.Develop and manage optimal compliance processes to ensure appropriate governance around contractual requirements and valuation industry standards.Oversee the delivery of valuation compliance solutions and services through review of business rules, reporting, manual reviews, audits and client and valuation firm feedback.Provide technical expertise to improve Valuation Ordering System processes and systems.Be a key escalation point for valuation compliance matters with internal compliance staff, lender clients and panel valuation firms.Support the ongoing training and upskilling of internal compliance staffAssist with managing and maintaining relationships with lender clients, panel valuation firms and industry stakeholders.Co-ordinate regular reporting and engagement with lender clients and valuation firms on valuation compliance performance and improvements.Contribute to the continuing training and development of panel valuation firms to ensure risk and customer experience are well balanced.Represent CoreLogic in the NZ valuation industry to champion change and drive improvements to valuation policy.Provide support to the AUS compliance team when required.Job Qualifications:You need to have:Strong knowledge of valuation methodologies, industry policy and process in New ZealandExcellent written, analytical and communication skills, including presentation skillsCritical thinking mindset with an ability to challenge the status quo and execute changeAbility to project and time manageExcellent relationship building skillsSome understanding of data and technology conceptsAbility to work to tight deadlinesAbility to coach and train.Negotiation and conflict resolution skillsAttention to detailSome understanding of lender credit policies and regulatory requirements as they relate to valuation policyTravel may be requiredWhy join CoreLogic?
