Are you proactive about booking others in to get the answers you need to move things forward? We're looking for an intermediate UX/UI designer or product designer to join our team. You will work closely with team seniors, product owners, and others to help us design for our BAU tasks as well as build out our new design systems.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of UX principles and know that function comes before fashion when it comes to UI. Ideally, you will have worked in a UCD process previously and naturally think in user flows.
Main Activities:Work with the team to devise solutions through prototyping.Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes, then into finished, responsive designs.Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs with users and the team.Work with our design system to build out new pages and functionality Take designs through to QA with developers.Typical Activities:Wireframe and prototype navigation for desktop and mobile.Figure out user flows for updates the business requires, using user insights to drive your design decisions and technical constraints to shape your solutions.Make small design updates for the account system, working within the current designs.Starting with the design system, figure out how we can re-platform existing complex web pages.Figure out how a tagging and filter system could work.Reskin and re-platform current flows like the sign-in flows.Build out/prototype new pages for our website using the design system and design new components where required.Wrangle content requirements for new pages with Marketing and Product.Asset creation.Design system and CMS documentation.QA and testing for web pages and components in the design handover and build process.Gather requirements, then redesign how the blog might work on the new CMS.Watch through our Hotjar recordings to understand how to best redesign web pages.Required Skills and Experience:4+ years experience with designing for web, mobile, or web platforms.Strong interaction design skills such as wireframing, user flows, customer journey mapping.Has worked within a cross-discipline design and development team.High proficiency in Figma.Can create interactive prototypes for testing and design specification purposes.Strong written and presentation skills.Strong interaction documentation skills.Experience with Design Systems.Experienced with optimizing e-commerce platforms and A/B testing a bonus.An understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Has conducted usability tests is a bonus.Knowledge and appreciation of a wide range of music.Experience in DJing and/or music production a bonus.Knowing when it's appropriate to use ChatGPT and how to use it appropriately.
