The role
We’re on the lookout for an experienced UI designer to support our multidisciplinary product team to define the next generation of EROADs digital interfaces across our digital touchpoints. Utilising customer insight, best practice, and your superior UI skills this role will work with our UX design, product, and technology teams to evolve and expand our design system helping to define principles and guidelines that enable EROAD to deliver experiences to our customers that not only help them succeed but also drive advocacy.

This is a 6 months fixed term contract.

You’re passionate about design. You know how a product should look, feel and work, and you ensure that knowledge filters through to end users. Your outstanding eye is complemented by a solid grasp of UX.
You are a problem solver who gets things done in a constantly changing environment, and you apply user research methodologies to understand the problems EROAD’s customers need to solve.
You’re a communicator who inspires the people around you.

You’re a team player who can work across business units. You bring original ideas and fresh approaches to each project you work on, but your goal is always to deliver a quality customer experience.

Duties will include:

Managing UI design across mobile and web platforms.
Creating and improve scalable assets, icons, illustrations and animations that will take our products into the future
Proficiency in Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD or other visual design and wire-framing tools Information architecture.
Interactive wireframing/prototyping
Define and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Ensure valuable, scalable and feasible design solutions that work across platforms and on any screen size
Promote consistent UI across all EROAD products.
Work with designers to establish and evolve UI and UX design patterns.

Requirements:

4+ years of design experience

Extensive experience designing across digital platforms (responsive web, app, etc.) in large organisations or at scale.

Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio

Front end development (CSS/JavaScript/HTML) advantageous but not required.
