RequirementsAt least 3 years of related work experience, ORAt least NZ Register Level 4 qualification may substitute for the experience (overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification), ORNational Skill Standard Assessment Certificate Thai Cook Level 1And Knowledge of Thai food ingredientsKnowledge of Thai food cooking techniques Job DescriptionDesigning menus, projecting food and labor expenses, and procuring food provisionsSupervising the quality of dishes throughout the preparation and serving processEngaging in discussions regarding food preparation matters with a ManagerDemonstrating culinary techniques and offering guidance on cooking methodologiesPreparation and cooking of food itemsExplaining and ensuring compliance with hygiene standardsPossibly recruiting and training staffPotentially overseeing the freezing and preservation of food itemsOther DetailsThis is a full-time and permanent position.Wage payment is $29.66 per hour, and you will be paid weekly.Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law.You will be working at 150 Bank Street, Regent, Whangarei 0112.We are open for lunch on Wednesday to Sunday from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm and dinner on Wednesday to Monday from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.You will work according to a roster 5 - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours).Please note that applicants for this position should have NZ citizenship/residency or a valid NZ work visa.If you would like to join our team, please submit your information via this platform.
