Transportation Analyst/Planner

MCS Group is recruiting a Transportation Analyst/Planner for our client based in Larne on a contract basis.Are you passionate Transportation and leveraging data to deliver actionable insight that impacts daily operational business decisions of a large manufacturing division?Do you enjoy improving transportation networks, shipping performance & processes and above all else, are you passionate about logistics processes, data, and analytics? If so this could be the opportunity for you!As a Transportation Analyst, you will play a vital role in driving Transportation operational efficiency's & processes for Products moving from EAME facilities to Dealers or end customers.You will plan and execute international transportation shipments to reduce overall transit time and variability, in-transit inventory, and transportation cost.Initiate, develop, lead, stabilization & cost reduction projects for outbound shipments from the clients EAME manufacturing facilities.The successful candidate will have:Prior experience in international transportation ie Ocean (Container/RORO), Road (Truck) and Air.Motivated to gain expertise in international transportation processes.Proven capacity to thrive in high-pressure environments and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.Strong Analytical skills & problem-solving capabilities .Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and it would be great if you had good working knowledge of Power Bi, Power Automate, SalesforceThis role is offered on a temporary contract and will be based in Larne offering Hybrid working (3 days on site/ 2 days working from home)To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Kirsty Dillon Specialist Consultant at MCS GroupEven if this position is not right for you, we may have others that are.
