Transport Coordinator

THE ROLE: Ensure that goods are delivered undamaged and on timeMonitor deliveriesArrange efficient delivery routesBe the first point of call for driversAssist with laoding and unloading goods from trucksCommunicate with senior employees, such as transport managers, to locate ways to make the transportation process more efficient, for example - limiting damaged goodsConduct quality control checksMaintain and report KPI's regarding fuel tax reporting, mileages, stock levels and on time delivery Be the point of contact for complaints or feedback from drivers and clients, re-directing them to suitable parties if necessaryReview driver timesheets ABOUT YOU: Strong communication skillsAttention to detail to maximise efficiency and minimize errorsProblem solver - Being able to process information quickly, identifying potential solutions or contingenciesLeadership - Have the ability to motivate, guide and implement decisions with authorityUnderstanding of scheduling and logistics - Creating routes, coordinating with drivers and planning schedules"As one of the world's largest employers, we believe in talent not labels, and focus on the diverse and unique skills our people bring.
