The Opportunity | Test & Assembly Technician
As a Test & Assembly Technician you could work on Air Data Computer technology and Ice Detector technology This includes the latest specification Flight recorders, the world's highest specification pressure sensors that operate in an aircraft environment, and working with products that deliver data to other aircraft system including pilot instruments, autopilots, flight management systems and many others.
Looking at process instructions and technical drawings you will test and repair these products and customer returns. Looking at test schedules and quality management systems to solve individual issues and develop a fix.
Your Challenge
Fault find to sub-assembly level and evaluate repair actions needed
Understanding blueprints and technical drawings
Using a variety of hand tools, fixtures and specialized tooling to assemble the products
Test the product repair using a variety of testing equipment as required
Meet or exceed annual targets.
Your Expertise
At least 4 years experience in a problem solving engineering environment
Have a strong understanding of the importance of quality and compliance on a product
Familiar with electronic measurement equipment for both analog and digital product
