Careers That Change Lives We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Territory Manager to join our New Zealand Surgical Innovations sales team. Based in Christchurch, in this role, you will be driving sales growth and market share by promoting our Hernia Care and General Surgical Technologies portfolio to key surgeons and clinical staff within the South Island region. A Day in the Life As a Territory Manager reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, you will: Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer Accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals. Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services. Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services. Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities. Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed. Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing. Must-Have: A Bachelor's degree in Science, Nursing or Business related discipline is essential Proven sales experience selling into hospitals with a success track record preferably in medical devices. Strong understanding of the New Zealand public and private healthcare system and ideally experience working within Operating Theatres.
