Account & Relationship Management (Sales)We're looking for a sales star with a real 'go getter' attitude, bucket loads of energy and strong commercial acumen (with a great sense of humor!) to join our forward thinking and ambitious sales team as a Territory Manager – Christchurch Region.Reporting to the Regional Field Sales Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for maximising business performance across a key strategic region, managing key grocery accounts and convenience/out of home accounts.Here at Griffin's Snacks, we proudly produce many iconic and much-loved kiwi brands, and are looking for someone who is keen to continue to grow their sales career and to step into a leadership role, with approximately 7 direct reports.What you'll be responsible for:Developing strong relationships with customers and team membersLeading, developing and engaging a team of merchandisers – including H&S Compliance, recruitment, run-lists, performance management and leave.Promotional managementAnalyzing category, financial and sales performanceProactively managing shelf space and merchandising resources to maximise return on investment.Effective sales and distribution of New Product Development (NPD)Identifying and executing growth opportunities within the territoryProactively championing a strong H&S, & Employee Wellbeing culture.What you'll bring to the role: A Full NZ Driver licence or equivalent eligibility.Ideally, experience in account or portfolio management within FMCG (if you don't have this but meet the other requirements, we'd love to hear from you!)Excellent communication and relationship building skills – you love to meet new people and take a genuine interest in those around you.Leadership experience – you lead from the front and love to grow your people.Time management and organisational skills that others envy!Sound negotiation skills and the ability to influence when needed.Passion for identifying and executing growth plans within the territory.Ability to interpret and analyse data – you get a kick out of reviewing sales and performance reports!An innovative mindset- you're not afraid to shake things up and throw new ideas into the mix.Positivity and a solutions-focused approachAccountability - you own your decisions and can be counted on to do what you say you will!An eagerness to learn and grow your career with us.In return, you can expect a supportive working environment where you'll feel engaged and valued, career growth and mentoring opportunities and a focus on health and wellness to make your workplace more enjoyable!Although we'd love you to bring the listed skills and experience to the role, we're up for developing our people so if you think you tick a few of the boxes and are passionate about our brands, purpose, and values, then we are keen to hear from you!If you are hungry for a new challenge and are keen to make your mark in one of our key territories, then APPLY NOW and submit your application form.Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
