The role
It’s all about Technology here. You will be working with a broad variety of iconic South Island companies, health boards, city councils and innovative businesses. You will be helping them understand their current maturity state and will provide pragmatic recommendations on IT and cyber security, working closely with our external audit practice and on advisory engagements. You will engage with the clients directly, help them understand the benefits and risks of technology and what they need to do. Basically become their trusted and ‘go-to’ advisor! It’s a fantastic career opportunity to lead engagements and to mentor junior staff. This is a role where you can really make your mark as part of a vibrant and growing Risk Advisory team.

The team
We are a diverse team with diverse range of skill sets - amongst our team we have a keen mountaineer, a table tennis champion and other hidden talents which you might discover. We have the largest risk advisory services team in the South Island with extensive knowledge in IT Advisory, Security Architecture, Cyber Risk, Forensic, Discovery, Governance, Risk Management and Internal Audit.
Your background

Preferably 3-4 years’ experience in IT external and/ or internal audit• Familiarity with good practice frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27000 series, PCI DSS, NIST, NZISM and PSR • Relevant qualification in technology/IT• Ability to lead engagements and mentor junior staff • Experience of running workshops and presenting to stakeholders. • Excellent time management and written/oral communication skills• Enthusiastic with real drive to ‘get things done’
