Role Purpose: A key role being an integral part of the leadership team, you will primarily be responsible for the overall finance and administration function for the business ensuring the finance function is carried out effectively and in a timely manner whilst driving strong commercial thinking to optimise business performance is paramount within this role. Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Key Relationships: The Finance & Administration Manager work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Senior Management, external accountant and is directly responsible for the Administration teams HR, H&S, performance, appraisals, and remuneration. Key Responsibilities: The Finance & Administration Manager and their team are responsible for Managing day to day financial operations encompassing accounts payables, accounts receivable, daily cashflow updates & general ledger activities.Preparation & filing GST, PAYE & RWT & FBT. Financial reporting.Budgets & forecasts.Strategic planning.Risk management and insurance.Various administration tasks.Credit control management.Some elements of coordinating information technology work.Rebate management.Payroll administration.Finance & Administration project management as a lead or part of a project team.Asset management and maintenance.Skills required: To perform the responsibilities listed and achieve success in the role, the Finance & Administration Manager will demonstrate the following skills: Strong accounting acumen.Strong time management & organizational skills. Problem solving skills with attention to detail.Ability to work well with a team or as a team leader.Ability to clearly and appropriately communicate or manage communications (external & internal).Behaviours required: To perform the responsibilities listed and achieve success in the role, the Finance & Administration Manager will demonstrate following behaviours: Collaboration, Trust, and RespectEmployees will work together positively to achieve goals; experience will be shared, and help will be actively sought and proactively offered.
