Join our team at Mercury as a Technical Manager, leading a dynamic and diverse team in delivering engineering excellence across hydro and geothermal generation projects. This role is a key leadership position offering the opportunity to drive technical project delivery and shape the future of renewable energy. As Technical Manager you will provide strategic leadership to a team of 4-5 direct reports, ensuring the successful planning and execution of engineering workstreams. You will collaborate with project managers, technical managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes. You will be exposed to Mercury's ways of working where you will be able to get involved in additional initiatives of interest to you, supported by a leader who is respectful, transparent and empowering. This role can be based in either Hamilton or Rotorua and offers a great work/life balance which includes flexible working hours and the ability to work from home approximately twice per week.
