Focusedinitially on reimagining the Authentication layer/platforms of our world classSecurity platforms, you'll get to help guide the technology stack and work withother talented developers in further growing an already impressive product. You'll be:Mentoring developers incloud native development technologies, capabilities, and mindsetsProducing high qualitycode which sets an example for others to followLeading and producinghigh level designs which allow the product to achieve the vision and goals wehave for it.The FitWe're looking for someone with proven experience working withcloud native products who's comfortable taking on the challenge of decomposing amonolithic on-prem application. The successful candidate will take a lead rolein building a new authentication model as our on-prem monolith transitions intoa hybrid Cloud Native set of services. Our ideal candidate will also beexperienced in mentoring less experienced developers, and setting precedentsfor others to follow, to grow the capability of the entire team. You'll be a lifelong learner who deeplyunderstands how to get the most out of technology stacks and knows when to makepragmatic decisions.Some of the key skills and experience we are looking for are:Experience with token-based authentication andmodern authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth 2.0 and OIDCExperience implementing Single Sign On withEntra ID in a product development environmentSound knowledge of writing application forcontainerized environments, i.e. Docker, KubernetesExperience in both Relational and NoSQL databasedevelopmentA strong understanding of cyber securitycontrols and best practiceProficient with .Net Core, C#, ASP.NET Core, WebServices, REST API'sMinimum 7 years of commercial developmentexperience.Why Gallagher?Gallagher isproudly the highest ranked privately owned technology exporter in NZ.
