We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Director with significant experience in the sector to continue the grow PDP's capability with one of the most capable three-waters teams in NZ, we are looking for a Technical Director with significant experience in the sector to continue to grow PDP's capability in the sunny Hawke's Bay/Gisborne area. Building our presence on the Napier City Council three-waters design panel will be an initial focus, and your role will include relationship management and business development, as well as technical and people leadership, project management, and everything in between. About the RoleGrow PDP's three-waters capability in the Hawke's Bay and Gisborne regions expanding our offerings in the municipal and private sectors.Project and people management and the opportunity to further build and lead a local team of environmental engineers and scientists.Collaborate with and coordinate with both internal and external multidisciplinary teams.Ensure technical delivery of projects conforms to the highest standards of quality and timeliness, and compliance in all engineering design processes and documentation.Play a lead role in quality, safety, and risk management.A key leadership position within the company where you will have influence over the direction of the business and have the potential for shareholding.What You'll BringDegree in Civil, Environmental, or Natural Resources EngineeringBe a recognised industry leader in the three-waters sector with 15+ years of experience in consulting combined with proven commercial, project management and business development skills.Strong business acumen, superb business development skills and established local government and private contacts.Proven leadership skills, a collegiate, team-player attitude.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Creative thinking to find innovative and sounds solutions for our clients.What We OfferAt PDP, we believe a great company is built by great people.
