Mo te tunga | About the role You will be a valued and integral part of the team, providing continuing airworthiness management functions for King Air KA350, T-6C Texan II and all NZDF Uninhabited Aircraft Systems. The main responsibilities of this role include: * Monitoring maintenance activities and checking records are current and accurate. * Ensuring all maintenance work is compliant with NZDF policy and airworthiness regulations. * Monitoring Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) records of aircraft work packages for scheduled and unscheduled servicing. * Reviewing and analysing data, audit and report on airworthiness compliance and configuration control. * Providing technical advice and support to key stakeholders including continuous improvement recommendations to leadership/command. The location of work for this role is RNZAF Base Ohakea. Once you have completed the relevant training and are up to speed, flexible working options can be discussed. Please Note: The formal title for this role within NZDF is Civilian Aircraft Airworthiness Compliance 1. Nga pukenga me nga wheako | Skills and Experience Our ideal candidate will have proven experience within the aviation engineering industry. You will be able to demonstrate the following: * Strong understanding of continuing airworthiness management functions and aircraft configuration management. * At least 5 years of experience with aeronautical maintenance activities as a technician, supervisor, Flight Line Management or similar technical airworthiness support role. * Effective communication and relationship management skills. * Computer savvy: competent in the MS Office Suite along with CMMS applications, and able to pick up new technology quickly.
