Team Leader – Weekend Cleaning

Mangere 2022Jack Link’s NZ is a manufacturer of high-quality meat snacks supplying both local and export markets. We have some challenging goals ahead in 2020 and in order to achieve our targets we are looking for a full-time Team Leader to join our Weekend Cleaning (Day Shift) team. This role reports directly to the Production Manager and is a great role with a lot of autonomy and could kick off a career in manufacturing management for the right person. Some Key Responsibilities include: Developing the team and individuals into a high performing production unitEnsuring SOP and process guidelines are followedImplement the appropriate Work Procedures and emergency response procedures, plus any other documentation such as Pre-Start Inspection & Job Safety Analysis Monitor work activities and stop the works if continuance may impact negatively on the environment, safety of persons or the quality of work/serviceBe directly accountable for the health, safety and environment of those persons under their control To be successful you will need to have:Proven people management and leadership experienceChemical handling experienceHigh level attention to detailExcellent communication and organisational skillsGood numerical abilityHigh degree of trouble shooting ability: this includes identifying the root cause of issues and possible corrective actionsPrevious food manufacturing experience would be highly regardedIf this sounds like you, we would love to have a chat.
