The details: Permanent, Full time – 40 hours per week

A diverse, yet satisfying role in which you will not only oversee Health NZ - Waikato compounding services, but play a key role in helping to coordinate and lead pharmacy services to the oncology and haematology areas.
Key responsibilities of the role: A highly organised person, with clear communication and great relationship skills, you will provide a crucial link to hospital staff to the pharmacy compounding service. The role includes line management of operational pharmacists as well as pharmacy technicians who undertake compounding and trials work.

The position requires an experienced NZ registered pharmacist, preferably with previous experience in hospital pharmacy, aseptic compounding and operation of a compounding suite. A post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy is desirable but not essential. Further learning is encouraged and supported.
Providing services to all Waikato district hospitals and tertiary level service to hospitals in the Midland area, our work is full of variety, challenge and interesting situations.
