As the Team Leader for Value Enhanced your role will be involved in overseeing the production line and ensuring that quality and safety standards are being met by your team. With many moving parts this role will see you lead by example on the line and effectively deliver on production requirements. In the Value Enhanced department we make everything from marinated kebabs to tray packed stir fry strips.

Other responsibilities include;

Notifying the maintenance team of breakdowns and faulty machinery.
Completing staff rosters in line with schedules and production requirements.
Reporting any health and safety or concerns to the Supervisor.
Coaching and training your team on the line to meet SWOP standards.
Communicating production requirements between departments and assisting other Team Leaders when required.

To be successful in this role:

You will have a minimum of 1 year's previous leadership experience.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will have previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
Clear understanding of the poultry industry would be preferred.
You will have excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
You will be reliable and punctual.

This role is a busy but rewarding one, so having excellent attention to detail and time management will be essential.
