Team Leader

The Council's IT function plays a pivotal role in our organisation through its range of technology and services, supporting the delivery of the Council's services to the community. There is virtually nothing that happens in our organisation without some IT touch.
We are now looking for a Team Leader S4/HANA. This is a pivotal position within our Information and Technology Unit. This is a technical leadership position where you will work across multiple systems while guiding your team with your expert knowledge. You will actively manage Council's SAP ERP system and team of 13 technical specialists as well as be the lead and champion for the ERP platform. You will deliver IT support services to The Council while effectively managing resource planning through BAU, projects, upgrades and refreshes. Our Council SAP modules include; FICO, PSCD, REFX, PM, MM, HCM, PS, SuccessFactors, and BPC.
A typical day will consist of resource management, relationship management with your customers and other IT technical staff. Through this you will have the ability to anticipate your customers needs while challenging the way we do things. You'll be an active part of the SAP community and will actively manage the platform's lifecycle with the development of future roadmaps and enhancements to make maximum use of the system.
To be successful in this role you will have at least 7 years practical SAP experience of a technical/configuration nature. You'll have knowledge various SAP systems and integrations as well as experience in working with 3rd party vendors. You'll be relationships and customer focused with outstanding leadership skills.
