ensure they are supported on campus, and equipped to deal with student queries and issues. The
Team Leader assumes responsibility for a group of tutors, and oversees all aspects of their
development from a teaching and learning perspective.
Key responsibilities will include: To ensure all legal obligations and company policies are metAll campus audits passed/action plans followed upEnsure your campus is meeting the requirements of the code of practice for the pastoral care of all studentsEffective management of financials, HR requirements (recruitment, induction, performance management)Complete quarterly check of the Health and Safety PlanEnsure Tutors meet NZQA requirements and staffing levels are at maximum efficiencyCarry out all other duties as outlined in the staff ManualCarry out annual appraisals of all staff and manage disciplinary action if required in conjunction with the Campus ManagerLiaise with students and prospective employers to achieve employment outcomes.Graduate success rate at 80% industry employed or stair-cased to a higher-level qualificationOrganise regular industry visits contact that is purposeful to the faculty you supportWork closely with the Faculty Leads to ensure high academic outcomes and NZQA programme complianceAbout you A self-motivated team player with proven organizational, staff management and positive leadership skills; Ability to inspire othersA good understanding of compliance requirements (TEC/NZQA) and health and safety requirements.Strong background in education sector and pastoral careStrong time management skills with ability to work across multiple projects and meet deadlinesProject management skills in organization of events, industry visits and professional development planningBackground in technology with basic knowledge in Python – would be advantageous but not requiredWhy work with us?
