Working on behalf of predominantly private clients, they take pride in shaping the future of Auckland and are looking for a Civil Engineer - Team Lead to join their team.
The firm is experiencing strong growth and now looking to bring on an Intermediate Civil Engineer with the expectation to grow them into a Team Lead in the short to medium term as they continue to grow. This would make an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up into a management role.
Responsibilities
Start projects and see them through to completion, ensuring they are kept within the correct specificationMaintain relationships with clients and contractorsManage and train direct reports as the team growsEnsure correct health & safety practice is abided by all parties on siteHighlight defects and performance issues to directorsEnsure QA process is followed before design hand overWhat you bring to the table
Civil Engineering DegreeExperienced with general civil design requirementsExperienced with working on siteExperienced with construction & contracting proceduresCompetent with word, excel & google docsWhat's in it for you
This is not your typical engineering consultancy. This is a great opportunity to work alongside the Engineering Director on a day to day basis, soaking up the depth of knowledge on offer. Work from home options are available on an agreed basis. Suitable for civil / site engineers with 4+ years of experience looking to progress into a management role.
