The role exists in the Delivery Unit which supports the planning and delivery of the Government's key priorities. This includes the reporting on the progress of achievement of Government Targets and the Government Action Plan to the Prime Minister and Cabinet. The Delivery Unit also provides guidance to public sector agencies responsible for delivery of these key Government priorities.

You'll likely have a background and experience in the following areas:
Experience working in administrative roles supporting senior leaders in the public sector and/or private sector, specifically within fast paced environments and under pressure.Proven experience scheduling and providing secretariat support for high level meetings, ensuring that all papers, correspondence and attachments are delivered in a timely and presentable way.Strong presentation skills in different formats and channels focused on the reader/audience.Essential to the role will be your ability to swiftly navigate systems and technology and manage a range of internal software systems efficiently.As the Team Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Delivery Unit's activities. You'll be responsible for managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling communications, and supporting important administrative tasks. Your ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional approach, and manage multiple priorities will be critical to the team success.
A few of the key responsibilities are:
Calendar management and meeting coordination.Document management and distribution.Office administrative support, ensuring systems and processes run efficiently and improvements to day to day workloads are implemented.What we offer | Ta matou e tuku The indicative salary range is $80,000 - $85,000 p/a (including Kiwi Saver contributions). Central Wellington role.
