Teacher of Te Reo Maori Due to the unfortunate loss of our Kaiako Reo Maori to an important iwi & community role, we are seeking a new kaiako to enable continuation of matauranga Maori up to NCEA Level 3 and Scholarship. Kaupapa Maori is supported at WHS with our local supporting hapu, our Whanau advisory Group, a Kaihapai Maori in the Senior Leadership team, and Maori student council. The ability to teach Te Reo Maori to NCEA Level 3 and Scholarship is preferred. Please state other specialist subjects. The role could also include responsibility for Kapa Haka (1PMMA) and being a Kaiarahi for our Maori and Pasifika students (1PMMA).
