Job Summary: The System Analyst shall support the Office of the Chief Information Officer's (OCIO's) functions across IT Portfolio Management, IT Strategy development, Governance and Policy support, Legislative Compliance, and Enterprise Architecture.The System Analyst will assist the customer with fulfillment and management of responses to the Government Accountability Office (GAO), Office of the Inspector General (OIG), and similar requests about IT systems and services. Business automation support will also be a key responsibility including, but not limited to, maintaining, and developing process automation through a complex set of workflows and forms built on the ServiceNow platform.
Responsibilities Job Responsibilities: Create and manage multiple complex workflows and enhance data integration with no-code playbooks on the ServiceNow platform.
Use ServiceNow Process Automation Designer to create or enhance unified processes through cross-enterprise workflows to support strategic decision making, IT program governance, security compliance, enterprise architecture, and IT acquisition.
Leverage ServiceNow to streamline operations, enhance collaboration and optimize business processes through the orchestration of various tasks, approvals, and interactions within the organization.
Support business leaders and end users use of workflows, reports, and business automation tools.
Provide ServiceNow data inventory exports, and enable data sharing with other enterprise tools through APIs and data exchange (e.g. Archer Security Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (SGRC) platform, Flexera One Technopedia, Microsoft Power BI Dashboards, etc.)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot system integration, data sharing, access control, and user interface issues related to ServiceNow, Microsoft SharePoint and Power BI.
Create system guidelines, job aids, and standard operating procedures for end users.
Support customer business functions and planning, including documentation and correspondence preparation. As well as facilitation of meeting schedules and planning, coordination and publishing of comprehensive meeting agendas, presentations, meeting minutes, and action item/task tracking.
Work independently and produce quality results by proficiently leveraging the wide variety of IT tools and resources available to fully remote employees.
Secondary responsibilities include:
Data integration, customization, and user support in Power BI.
Manage and optimize SharePoint sites, ensuring efficient collaboration, enhanced user interface and customer experience, and structured information management.
Creation of training materials and conducting end user training on ServiceNow and enterprise systems with integrated data exchanges.
May have future opportunities to develop or apply experience in maintaining and supporting Microsoft Power Apps and Atlassian Confluence.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
Associate degree and a ServiceNow Certification, as well as 2-4 years of experience.
1 - 2 years of experience in process automation and managing multiple complex workflows with ServiceNow and Microsoft SharePoint is desired.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology management, or related field with ServiceNow Platform experience is desired.
Must already possess (or be capable of immediately completing within the first 3 months of employment) ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). ( This certification validates foundational knowledge and skills related to managing ServiceNow instances ).
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong Team Collaboration skills in a remote work environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Office Suite (specifically, MS Teams for remote work collaboration).
Customer service oriented and experience working with customers on requirements definition and process automation.
Experience providing strategic recommendations and operational support, including business process analysis and reengineering, that promotes digital transformation.
Additional Desired Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate
Place of Performance: 100% Remote (work from home). Primary work location must be in the United States and must participate and be available online during core east coast work hours (9am – 3pm EST). Remaining daily work hours may be before or after core hours. Initial travel to government credential issuing facility may be required.
