Systems Analyst

A state government department requires a Systems Analyst for Applications Support for 6 months.

Your new company
The system analyst is responsible for leading and driving efficiency, effectiveness and functionality improvement of this organisations core business applications to meet the strategic objectives.

Your new role
Provide systems support and training on core business applications such as Insurance, Client Relationship and Business Process Automation systems
Lead the development activities of core business applications (Insurance, Client Relationship and Business Process Automation systems) enhancement and improvement via gathering business and systems requirements, assist in systems testing and change release management
Manage and perform core system configuration, enhancement and changes to support business outcomes such as annual client renewal program
Liaise and work with relevant software vendor in resolving and escalating issues, formulating enhancements and improvements on the core systems.
Work with the ICT team to maintain and enhance systems capability of the bespoke Insurance systems.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll have a background in application support previous experience as subject matter expert in client renewal processes from insurance, systems and applications perspective. You'll have previously worked in government and have an ICT background.
