Sweet Corn Packer

LeaderBrand Produce Limited is one of New Zealand’s largest and most diverse horticultural businesses with operations in Ashburton, Matamata, Pukekohe and a base in Gisborne.
We are currently seeking Sweetcorn Packers & Trailer Boys for the Sweetcorn Harvest season.
You will be willing to work outdoors (weekend work may be required), so being prepared to work in whatever weather Gisborne throws at us will be a plus, having your own vehicle would be an advantage.
This is a fulltime, fixed term role, based out of Makauri Farm in Gisborne.
Shifts are generally 12 hours and you must be available to work weekends as well as week-days.

Pre-employment drug test will be required for all successful applicants.

This seasonal role will commenceimmediatelyand run through to approximately end of March 2018, depending on the progress of the season and workload available.

Remuneration - Piece rate
The sweet corn harvest crew collectivly be paid a piece rate of 4.75 cents per packed cob of sweetcprn (Subject to acceptable quantity). Base rate of $16.50/hour
