The successful candidate will lead our sustainability initiatives, working closely with various stakeholders to drive positive environmental and social impacts across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sustainability strategies, policies, and programs to align with company objectives and industry best practices.Conduct regular environmental assessments and audits to identify opportunities for improvement and mitigate risks.Collaborate with internal departments to integrate sustainable practices into daily operations, including procurement, production, and logistics.Engage with external partners, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to stay informed of emerging sustainability trends and regulations.Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics, tracking progress towards goals and communicating achievements internally and externally.Lead sustainability-related training and awareness programs to promote a culture of environmental stewardship among employees.Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sustainability management, preferably in the construction materials or related industry.Strong understanding of environmental regulations, carbon foot printing, life cycle assessment, and sustainable development principles.Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives within a corporate setting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.Experience in project management, data analysis, and reporting.Winstone Aggregates is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
