Sushi Chef

Habit Foods, recognised as one of the top places to eat in Te Anau is about to open a new sushi food trailer and we are on the look out for a sushi chef.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Japanese cuisine with a strong eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities will include;
-Preparation and presentation of all menu items
-Support the head chef in writing menus and staff training
-Customer service
-Quality control

Skills;
-Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-Self-motivated
-Positive attitude and able to work in a team
-Ability to think outside the square
-Good skills in handling raw seafood
-Excellent communication skills
-A desire to learn and develop
-Maintain consistency in presentation, flavour & quality
