The opportunity:
Are you passionate about New Zealand's primary industry? Do you have an understanding of the practical demands of dairy and beef farming in the region? We are supporting the Ministry of Primary Industries with the phased eradication of MBovis and are seeking team members to work as part of a surveillance team conducting sampling for the purposes of phased eradication of MBovis. This involves hands-on stock work, obtaining blood and milk samples on-farm, as well as census scanning.
About you:
You love working with cattle
You might be a qualified vet tech or have hands on experience working with large animals
You are a great team player and communicator
You can stick to process and you are championing Health & Safety
You show initiative and you are not afraid to suggest new ways of working
You have a full drivers licence and you can reverse trailers
