Support Workers - Complex Care Client

What is the role about?
As a Support Worker you will be working with a female client with a spinal injury to support her to participate in meaningful activities in the community, support with daily personal care and household tasks. Some of these tasks may include:
High level of complex cares – hoist transfers, continence management Community outings evenings and weekends Attending physical therapies, appointments and community programmes Shifts available:
Every Wednesday 5pm -8.30pm Alternative Saturday and Sunday 11am – 12pm Opportunity to cover other shifts We are looking for people with the following skills: Empathy for others, and the genuine desire to help people Reliable, professional and trustworthy with the ability to work independently Strong communication skills and fluency in English Previous experience in supporting people with spinal cord injury Minimum NZQA Health and disability Level 2 qualification Will require a full driver’s licence and reliable transport
