Support Worker Required

Support worker is required to assist a family who have a primary school aged child who has a disability. The role includes support in the family home, and also out in the community.
Hours are between 20 and 30 per week. Family would like to employ someone who is looking for on-going/long term employment. The role involves a full day on Tuesday, with the rest of the hours spread across the week, between 8:30 until 4 pm, which will be negotiated.
Applicant must be very physically fit, be able to swim, and keep up with an energetic young person. Applicant needs to be kind, calm, firm and able to work with family with the behaviour management plans in place. Applicant needs to be a practical person and have common sense.Applicant needs to have knowledge and have had practical experience working with and supporting children with disabilities - this is a requirement for this position.
This role is located in Springston area, so you will also need a full licence, your own car and willing to travel.
