About the role Join our expert IT team if you're eager to dive into a dynamic tech environment. We're looking for a Support Technician/Engineer to handle the daily tech operations for Qube Ports NZ staff, both in the office and out in the field. You'll tackle a variety of support tickets, ensuring our employees' technology needs are met efficiently. The types of technologies you will support include (but not limited to): Troubleshooting and repairs to Robotic Scaling machines.Installation, repair, and maintenance of Camera and RFID systems.Installation, repair, and maintenance of wide area and local network cabling and technology.Installation, repair, and maintenance of computers, mobile scanners, printers, and other technologies used to manage Qube's Operations. Attributes Required: Formal Technology qualifications at diploma level or aboveExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work at heights and in dirty environments.Understanding of Microsoft Server environments.Understanding of technology networking, switching, routers, firewalls, cabling, and wireless technologies.A passion to learn and grow in understanding of the technology base and business domain that Qube operates in.
