$23.99 - $29.10 per hour (depending onqualifications)About the role: Are you passionate about making a positiveimpact in people's lives? Join our team as a full-time Support Staff member in Avonhead,Christchurch. You'll have the opportunity to assist residents with theireveryday activities, including shopping, meal preparation, household chores,personal support, and community outings.
Your shifts will be split between workingon the main floor (36hr per fortnight) and providing one-on-one support (40hrper fortnight) to a young man, assisting him with his morning routine toprepare for day placement, as well as supporting him in the evening with hisnightly routine.
This position is ideally suited for someoneresiding in the Avonhead area, as it involves split shifts.
Note: Hawksbury is accredited to hire staff on anAccredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), we donot have a Job Check for this position so cannot support applicant withthe visa process. Ideally, you'll have an NZ Certificatein Health and Wellbeing Level 2 or equivalent along with: A positive attitude to supporting people with a learningdisability.A full New Zealand driver's licence.Great communication skills (written and verbal).What we can offer Ongoing development opportunities.
