We have an exciting opportunity for a diligent and proactive Support Officer to join our team and provide high quality assistance to Operations Managers in the Kauri Coast and Whangarei districts. You'll take ownership of your role and act as a key administrative 'go-to' for the Operations Managers and their teams.
This role requires someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can prioritise several tasks at any one time, and is comfortable working unsupervised.
This position will be focused on:
Managing the Operations Managers' diary scheduling, emails, and other correspondence as appropriateMeeting support and taking minutesSupporting a range of processes such as finance, asset management and personnel.Tracking of tasks, reports and information dueWorking with the District Leadership teams to assist the Operations Manager to meet deadlines and other requirementsThis is a full-time, 6-month fixed term role based in the Whangarei office.

Mo te tima | About the team The Kauri Coast and Whangarei Operations teams are a passionate team of permanent staff, with support from contractors and casual and fixed term staff. The team are experts in their fields of biodiversity, community, heritage and visitors but work closely together and there is often the opportunity to support each other depending on the priorities of the district.

The salary range for this position is $60,314 to $75,603 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
