Supply Chain Team Leader

Mt Wellington location Immediate start, full-time, permanent role At FMI Glass we specialise in delivering high quality, innovative glass solutions throughout New Zealand. We are an integral part of FMI Building Innovation.
This is a hands-on role so you'll need to have significant working knowledge of supply chain, procurement and inventory processes as well as ERP. You'll have experience in business and cross-functional awareness, encompassing internal and external customer focus is key.
What will you be doing:
Managing the Warehouse Inwards Goods team and administrator
Work closely with the Plant Manager to manage all glass for the organisation based on usage data and rolling forecast data
Reporting and communication of key KPI's and any other tasks required by the business
Participating in appropriate continuous improvement opportunities
Leading by example to ensure your own safety and that of your own team
We're looking for an individual to join us who is well versed in the field of supply chain, procurement and inventory control. You'll be a natural leader with staff management experience. You'll have the ability to model effective leadership, mentor other members of the team and help build a strong team environment. You'll have strong analytical skills and the ability to apply rigorous knowledge and methods. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will see you succeed in this role. It would definitely be beneficial if you had previously worked within a manufacturing environment.
