About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimise the supply chain operations for our New Zealand Facility Management business. This newly created position is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process for materials, personnel and services to deliver effective FM solutions for our national portfolio of clients while minimising costs and optimising operational efficiency. Based in Auckland (Henderson) on a permanent full-time basis, this integral role presents the opportunity to leverage your supply chain optimisation expertise while contributing to the delivery of essential services for our clients and wider local communities. Key responsibilities of the role include: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise supply chain operations. Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation and management. Collaborate with key sector leaders to determine 'best-in-class' supply chain strategies Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality services while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Lead service planning activities to meet customer demand while optimising service costs Analyse supply chain data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and performance optimisation. Implement supply chain best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. Provide leadership and guidance to the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. About You To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience managing a supply chain function with a medium-to-large sized organisation. We are seeking a seasoned supply chain professional with demonstrated experience managing high value and volume supply chain processes and operations, ideally with a delivery provider of facilities management or in a similar industry such as facilities services, utilities, construction, transport, engineering, government etc. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following: Tertiary qualification in relevant field (supply chain management, logistics, business etc). Demonstrated experience with operational supply chain management of significant material and subcontractor costs, preferred. Highly developed communication and negotiation skills. 'Data-driven' and analytical with acute attention to detail. Commercially astute with strong financial acumen. Excellent stakeholder engagement ability.
