With a growing diverse portfolio of quality animal products Dechra Veterinary Products is seeking an experienced and passionate Supply Chain & Logistics Team Lead. The position will efficiently and safely supervise supply chain functions including purchasing, supply, inventory control and product dispatch from the New Zealand warehouse. It will also be focused on driving the development and continuous improvement of an effective and efficient, customer driven supply chain network to support Dechra's growth agenda.Role Responsibility The ChallengeSo, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate's key responsibilities will include:Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain operations as per Dechra's strategic plansManage all procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation of pricing, MOQs, terms and other support as requiredImplement supply chain best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure effectiveness and delivery against set KPIsDevelop, manage, and maintain relationships with all stakeholders including third parties to facilitate the delivery of on time products.Utilise the demand plan to ensure adequate stock availability to meet customer demandProvide leadership and guidance to the warehouse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.Communicate within Dechra across business units to collaboratively achieve targetsConduct regular supplier audits and internal stocktakeSupport company wide initiatives to improve service levels to our customers.The Ideal Candidate About YouHere at Dechra we pride ourselves on being an inclusive employer and we embrace candidates from all walks of life.
