The Role
We're looking for a talented analyst to help support supply chain and operations deliver a revolutionary customer experience while maintaining and seeking margin efficiencies. In addition to traditional analysis & report building skills, we are also looking for someone who is passionate about understanding how the business works & the processes behind the data. Were looking for someone who can add value with the way data can be presented & interpreted. Given Koalas growth & the exciting changes we are constantly making, this role will be instrumental in helping Koala make informed decisions driving continuous improvement.
The Primary Objective is to support the Operations Team achieve Koalas objectives by providing Analysis & Reporting. More Specifically
Use our existing BI Infrastructure to build out the reporting suite to cover current reporting gaps across the Operations / Supply Chain function
Establishing a regular schedule of reporting
Interpreting data & reports to help understand what is driving the results
Running ad hoc reporting to deep dive unexpected results or explore the expected results of new scenarios
Provide recommendations & observations relating to reports / results
Support Continuous Improvement initiatives
Key Challenges
Developing an in-depth understanding of the Business Processes and Systems that drive the data-flows
Building the Operations Data & reporting suite
Sourcing quality data / filling gaps in data sets
Managing expectations around analysis & report building lead-times
Being flexible and open to sudden changes in direction & prioritisation
Functional Areas this role will focus on
Supplier delivery performance
Warehouse & Logistics performance & costs:
warehouse performance, delivery to customer performance
Customer Service performance
Inventory Optimisation
Quality (returns, warranty, product review, zen desk)
Customer service (zendesk {CRM}, unleashed sales orders & credits, tickets/order, tickets/hr)
Aftercare (returns & warranty, reverse logistics costs)
Qualifications
~2+ years Experience in a similar role.
Experience within Supply Chain functions highly regarded
Related Degree or equivalent further education required
Highly skilled in excel
Experience with BI tools
Experience with creating reports/graphs (visual representations)
Ability to interpret data, make observations & recommendations
Effective problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Be aware of the impact and implications of decisions on other aspects of business.
Some experience with SQL for reporting
