Hansang Trading Limited is currently seeking to hire a professional and experienced Supply & Distribution Assistant Manager. This role will be based in Auckland. This is a full-time permanent job with 35 hours per week. Salary range: $29.66 - $31.61 per hour Duties will include but are not limited to: · Oversee and manage all areas of the warehouse and make time to time decisions on matter of importance to client service · Create /Use MS Excel / Company Sales/Stock Program schedules and provided system solutions to manage stocktaking when new stock arrives and update volumes of daily sales. · Responsible for ensuring inward goods are in good condition, and submit a claim to insurer and/or supplier if required · Estimate new stock needs based on feedback from customers and data, and submit a list of the items for the next shipment to the Senior Manager and Merchandise Planner · Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs including stationery, supply, utility and labourcost · Manage low-level staff performance · Maintaining plant and equipment in good condition, such as forklifts, trolleys and freezer units · Ensuring ATF processes and regulations are met with sea containers · Ensuring MPI instructions are met at all times · Monitoring stock to ensure FIFO and perform regular stocktakes to manage accurate stock level and expiry date of goods · Managing stock for damages and losses · Managing incoming stock including sea containers and deliveries to ensure correct goods are received · Assisting and working with other team leaders to achieve maximum efficiency Work with other team members in different Departments Skills / Qualifications Required: At least one year of relevant work experience in stores or warehouses is mandatory, preferably dealing with Korean food and products.A successful candidate is expected to hold a valid NZ full driver's licence. As most of the products we deal with are imported from Korea, the ability to speak and read the Korean language is highly beneficial. Flexibility to work on weekends or public holidays is also expected due to the nature of the role.
