Supervisor

Before School, After school and Holiday programme, supervising primary school kids, taking activities such as craft, sports, games, cooking and discovery. Main job is to provide an environment that has a homely feel.
Our organisation provides before-school care, after-school care, and holiday programmes throughout New Zealand. We offer exciting activities for children, including sports, arts and crafts, cooking, science experiments, games and structured free time.
We are looking for casual staff members to join our team based across two school locations. The hours of work will depend on the specific role you undertake. We operate from 7am-8.30am and 2.30pm-6pm Monday to Friday. During school holiday periods, hours of work will be based upon rostered shifts between the hours of 7am-6pm. Engaging and supervising children Running activities Basic cleaning duties
The right person for this role will:

Have the ability to engage with children, motivate them to join our daily activities, ensure their safety and that they feel valued and cared for Be able to work in a team environment BeS omeone that is bubbly, fun, driven and willing to learn and grow Have good communication skills Enjoy working with children
A current first aid certificate and access to your own transport is an advantage. Experience in childcare is preferred but not essential. The successful applicants will be required to have a police check. Our organisation takes child safety and child protection responsibilities seriously, and staff recruitment is carried out accordance with the requirement of the Children’s Act (2014).
