We are currently seeking a Subcontract Resource Lead to join our team at the Department of Corrections and MOJ in Auckland or Wellington.A bit about the roleWith subcontractor management being the greatest financial and delivery risk to Downer, the Role of the Subcontract Resource Lead is critical for ensuring high performance and financial value are driven through operational delivery processes, ensuring Downer is at the forefront of our internal, client and legislative requirements.Some duties include but not limited to:Continuously identify and implement strategies to maximize savings and increase value for money for both Downer and our customers.Analyse financial and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction that contributes directly to EBIT targets.Seek to expand subcontractor base where appropriate to ensure a competitive procurement environment and best value is driven across all delivery aspects of the business.Facilitate the onboarding process to ensure Subcontract Partners are able to be utilised quickly and efficiently.Ensure the engagement and ongoing management of subcontractors is well supported and all records standards, specifications, and training are in place to ensure compliance to Downer and industry requirements.Support the National Operational & Programme Managers by providing guidance by ensuring that operational stakeholders have access to accurate and dependable support to implement and operate under mandated requirements.Nga pukenga matua | Important SkillsWe're looking for someone who is passionate about going the extra mile!
