To support the Liaison and Engagement activities between EIT and Tairawhiti Schools and Community.
This is a one year fixed term parental leave cover position
The appointing salary for this role will be between $60000 and $63,038, dependent on skills and experience.
The Student Liaison Advisor is based in our EIT | Te Pukenga Tairawhiti campus, reporting to the Director Business Relationship and Transitions and will be responsible for: 
Supporting the Engagement and Transitions Team Leader and coordinating with EIT managers, staff, secondary schools and community stakeholders to deliver the Liaison and Engagement plan for the Tairawhiti regionMaintaining up-to date knowledge and awareness of the full range of EIT support services and programmesAssisting students with their programme selections, course applications and scholarshipsEngaging with key stakeholders, community groups, organisations, local secondary schools to promote learning opportunitiesSupporting and liaising with the Marketing and Communications team to deliver the advertising and marketing plans and create social media content, according to the EIT's social media strategyCoordinating and implementing Tairawhiti based events such as expo's, open days, graduation, careers, seminars, launches and other events in collaboration with other EIT staff.Organizing and hosting campus visits for schools and events for future students on and off campusTo be successful in this role you will have: A qualification in business, marketing or education is desirableExperience and knowledge working at the industry, schools and the tertiary sectorHave a level of credibility with the industry and education providersCustomer service orientated focusHigh degree of professional judgement, personal initiative, commitment and integrityAs an inclusive and supportive employer, we value diversity and want to encourage anyone interested to apply, regardless of whether you tick all the boxes or not.
