Nga korero mo te turanga – About the role Actively promote the Division of Management programmes' and the experience that it provides to prospective and current students in order to build enrolments, inspire student engagement, and help foster a sense of community and motivation through the coordination of operations and logistics associated with WMS student communication, events and activities. 
You will identify and reach out to schools and other communities not typically associated with enrolment at the University to encourage participation and applications to study. Using your professional and friendly approach you will collaborative effectively to develop and maintain student engagement, and ensure that the reputation of the University is enhanced by all events (internal and external) and our stakeholder and engagement goals are achieved.
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week). Salary will be in the range of $79,802 to $91,268 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. You will have the ability to build strong relationships: this includes strong internal partnerships with other teams across the University, effective working relationships with schools, senior leaders, teachers and career advisers, and most importantly supportive relationships with prospective students and their whanau from a range of backgrounds. You will be able to demonstrate your experience in successful budget management and efficient event management and your knowledge in creating and maintaining strategy documents.
You will demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills, are comfortable working in complex situations that require a growth mind set. Strong relational intelligence and the ability to work alongside and motivate others to achieve a common goal are also essential. You are a highly organised professional who loves working with people in a fast-paced environment. Ideally you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and experience in Marketing, Communications or Public Relation.
